District Level Patriotic Song Competition at Bharatesh Education Trust

Last date for enrolling extended to 10th August 2011

Bharatesh Education Trust's Global Business School, under the aeges of Bharatesh Education Trust, has organized a mega District level Patriotic Song Competition on the occasion of Independence Day. The event will be for 2 days from 12th August 2011 and this occasion will be graced by prominent freedom fighters, corporates and industrialists of Belgaum, who have reached the pinnacle of success. This competition is held by Bharatesh Education Trust every year. Last year saw the total number of participants reach a whopping total of 1200 students from across Belgaum District.

We believe that the patriotic fervor and spirit of the Independence Day should be upheld so that the future generations can value the struggles of the freedom fighters and the independence that we enjoy because of it. With this in view, this year, we have taken the competition a level further to include participants above 14 years also, which means even adults can take part. The participants must present any two patriotic songs in any two languages in each category. The last date for enlisting the teams has been extended to 10th August 2011. Mini Lunch will be provided to participants only.

Shri C. U. Bellakki, Station Director of AIR, Dharwad will be the chief guest of the event.

A slew of eminent personalities from the field of music are slated to judge the event. The winners of the competition across different categories will be awarded attractive cash prizes. Group Singing…………. First Prize…….Rs. 5000

Solo Singing ……………. First Prize: Rs. 2000
Second Prize Rs. 1000
Third prize: Rs. 500

Kar Diploma Results 2011 expected on 14th july

DTE - Department of Technical Education, Karnataka conducted the Diploma Polytechnic Examination held in the month of May. Thousands of students written the Karnataka Diploma Exam 2011 and the results of DTE Karnataka 2011 is expected to be out in the month of July. This was only the tentative date for Kar Diploma Results 2011-2012. Candidates can get their result from the official websites at http://dte.kar.nic.in as well as in http://karresults.nic.in/. Students who attempted the Diploma Exam of Karnataka can download their respective result according to roll wise, name wise and subject wise.

Admission to diploma courses is based on merit in each category of reservation. Out of the total seats 50% of the seats are reserved for various groups of the society. Remaining 50% of the seats are allotted based on the marks scored in the SSLC in Science and Maths for technical Courses. For admission to non technical courses total marks scored by the candidate in SSLC is taken into consideration.
